Tidstrumman—collecting material

The film highlights a stark contrast to modern relationships with land and resources and how we collect material. The wood collected in the film is used to create the sculpture Tidstrumman. The Public Art Agency Sweden made the acquisition of the artwork in 2025.
Tidstrumman is a collaboration with Sámi artist and drum-maker Fredrik Prost from Jukkasjärvi. In 2022 Anna Senno located two Sámi ceremonial drums in the collections of Mucem, Marseille, France. They were confiscated by the Swedish state in the 18th century and have now been repatriated to Ajtte Museum in Jokkmokk.
Sámi is the native population of Sápmi—a territory colonised and included to the northern parts of current day Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia.

Awkward Moments Series ll is a "Collaborative Life Tutorial Performance". The foursome—Mimi Xu, Carlota Guerrero, Marta Armengol and Anna Senno—combines video, installation, live performance and uses audience participation to blur the line between performers and none performers. This series aims to observe the immediacy of acting and reacting, to create human connection via touch and movements, triggered and accompanied by a cinematic score, which structures the performance into six chapters - Birth, Experience, Love, Decay, Death and Rebirth.
